Middle Schoolers & High Schoolers will need to present their school ID to receive the free skate pass. Elementary students will need to have a parent/guardian with them to confirm the school the students attends.

Saturday, February 10th, just days before Valentine's Day, the LGBTQ+ and ally community are coming together for a fun evening skating on the ice, under the lights as we enjoy some great music, celebrating Love is Love! This open skate will be hosted by Staycation featuring an appearance by special guests and skating Drag Queens!

The extended forecast is predicting 48° temps!

This event is open to everyone! Come as you are or switch it up a bit and have some fun with a fun winter outfit, colorful wig... the point- show off your creative personality!

Our ice time is from 6-8pm with checkin beginning at 5:45pm. There is a dedicated heated changing tent hosted by our partners at PARASOL!

The Rink at Royal Oak and Sabio have partnered up to collect food for Forgotten Harvest.

On January 31st, Sabio will be hosting a Food Drive at The Rink at Royal Oak where people can bring 3 cans of nonperishable food or more to donate to Forgotten Harvest and in return you will be able to skate for free with a free skate rental and hot chocolate! The food drive will take place from 4pm to 9pm which will include free ice skating lessons. The Rink at Royal Oak will be accepting donations until Thursday, 2/1.

Forgotten Harvest is in need of the following type of non-perishable items:

(NO GLASS CONTAINERS PLEASE)

• Peanut, almond or cashew butter – reduced sodium and low-sugar

• Canned soup, chili, pasta and stew - reduced sodium

• Canned vegetables and beans – reduced sodium or water packed

• Canned tuna, salmon, chicken or turkey – reduced sodium or water packed

• Pasta, barley, rice

• Pasta sauce or canned tomatoes - reduced sodium and low-sugar

• Canned fruit –100% juice or lite syrup packed

• 100% juices

• Dried beans, peas and lentils

• Whole-grain cereal - unsweetened or low-sugar

• Oatmeal and Cream of Wheat

• Nutritious snacks - dried fruits, nuts, trail mix and granola bars
