Sabio Food Drive

The Rink at Royal Oak & Sabio have partnered up to collect food for Forgotten Harvest.

On February 11th, Sabio will be hosting their 2nd annual Food Drive at The Rink at Royal Oak where people can bring 3 cans of nonperishable food or more to donate to Forgotten Harvest and in return you will be able to skate for free with a free skate rental and hot chocolate!

The food drive will take place on Tuesday, February 11th from 4pm to 9pm. 

Forgotten Harvest is in need of the following type of non-perishable items:

(NO GLASS CONTAINERS PLEASE)

• Peanut, almond or cashew butter – reduced sodium and low-sugar

• Canned soup, chili, pasta and stew - reduced sodium

• Canned vegetables and beans – reduced sodium or water packed

• Canned tuna, salmon, chicken or turkey – reduced sodium or water packed

• Pasta, barley, rice

• Pasta sauce or canned tomatoes - reduced sodium and low-sugar

• Canned fruit –100% juice or lite syrup packed

• 100% juices

• Dried beans, peas and lentils

• Whole-grain cereal - unsweetened or low-sugar

• Oatmeal and Cream of Wheat

• Nutritious snacks - dried fruits, nuts, trail mix and granola bars
